What is a fixed term contract?
It is a contract where a tenant must confirm the exact move in and move out dates when he or she signs the contract.
Under this contract, you cannot change the period of your stay. Cancellations and extensions are not allowed.
If you are staying in the apartment for less than 30 days, you must choose a fixed-term contract.
In some instances, if the apartment has not been rented to another tenant, the move-out date can be extended. This cannot be guaranteed and is dependent on the availability of the apartment.
What if I choose a fixed-term contract and then need to extend my stay?
You can always move to another apartment if there is a vacancy.
